I have a Jeep Wrangler Sahara, came with the Goodyears, at 20K miles I am just going to replace all them with the BFG's and call it a lesson learned. I have had 2 tires that had separation/large bubble, and 2 tires that are a constant problem with air loss. I have tried to deal with the 2 with air loss, had them in a water tank, no sign of air leaks. I have changed the valve stems. It is just a constant issue trying to keep them at the right pressure all the time. The 2 that had separation did that at right around 15K and 17K miles, went to Goodyear and got a song and a dance, finally ended up with the pro-ration mileage/wear replacement factor stuff - certainly NOT to my advantage on tires that should have seen twice the mileage without problems. Needless to say, I am done with Goodyear, they do not stand behind their product well and their product does not live up to even a minimum of use. I have run BFG AT's on many trucks throughout the years, have them on my Dodge. The wear/perform like iron, I get excellent mileage out of them, no muss or fuss. A real long time ago I had 1 BFG tire that had a sidewall separation at right around 25K, that tire was just replaced with NO pro-ration, no hastle. I like the fact that they stand behind their product. I have a set of them on my Ford dually, going on 40K miles and they have about 50% tread wear. Certainly my kind of tire. As to bashing a tire manufacturer, I am not a person to say much about a product unless it is a good comment. When I have a problem that a dealer/distributor seems to be unsatisfactory, I usually try another dealer/distributor just to make sure it is not the dealer giving poor product representation. So far, with my Jeep tires I have been to several different places because my problems happened when in different areas, all of them have had pretty much the same attitude regarding the non-existant warranty stuff. One of them told me that once you hit 12K you are pretty much on your own, the pro-ration will then eat you up fast, just buy a new tire and be done with it.
