We can't let those Furd guys be taking this place over! Let's hear what you have, and what you use it for!

For me, 2004 LB7 Duramax/Allison LT CC/SB hauling a 15,950 GVWR 38' Sierra Sport Toyhauler. Love my Chevy!

    98' Chevy K2500 HD EC LB 6.5TD 4L80E Stock.

I just bought it but I plan on using it for work to tow our 16' Tandem Flatbed trailer, (Manager of Garage Door installation company), and to tow my Jeep or friends boats. Our Church also has 6 24' and 26' Box trailers to haul equipment for satelite services, so it will probably see some tow duty there.

    All for now waytogo

Well, I'm a die-hard GM fan. I'd prefer a 4-cylinder, rusty Vega hatchback with the hatch removed to make it more truck-like to a Ford. (Yes I've owned Fords and had trouble with every one of them).

But, my 2004 LLY Duramax/Allison Silverado is a pieve of crap. It's going in again for another fuel problem Seems there is trouble with some module and it keeps failing. When it goes, it feels like some of the injectors only fire periodically. It's especially a problem when I have my 2000 Camaro SS race car on the trailer going up a hill. It starts sputtering and missing and is embarassing as hell.

If Ford made me even a good offer right now I'd be tempted. I need a truck I can trust. 31K miles on the Silverado in the first year and it's been to the shop 5 times.

Well I have a 05 Durmax/Alli CCab LT Longbed 4x4. It is completely stock except for Bilstine shocks and a Reese Titain 2.5" hitch oh and I added a Jordan controller. I bought it in November 04 and I have about 26K on it now commuting to work in it as well as taking family trips all over Cali. & towing my 72K5 Blazer. So far I have not had any issues except for dirty diesel causing sticky injectors to SMOKE OUT the whole hwy. Stanadyne cured that and my Durmax/Alli work great! I love it!! :pimp:

Hehe, I have a 1995 G30 15-passenger cargo van with a NA 6.5. :pimp: :pimp: I use it as a part-time commuter vehicle but it's main goal in life is to eventually donate it's 6.5/4L80E drivetrain into my '78 American Clipper 21' motor home.

Uh oh, I think I gotta go! :doah:

Do you go by PM over there also? Have to say I know there are some that are faster but my comfort level with the Gun is very high. I just need to get my trans done now so I can keep the power at the higher levels! burnout

I am driving an 04, K2500 HD, CC, SB with Dmax/Alli. Pretty much stock for now. Use it for pulling my 27' travel trailer and daily commute in winter. Ride my Honda ACE whenever weather permits.
