Did fine , hardly knew it was back there. Went and bought my apportioned plates today and start hauling boxes next Monday!! Registered for 34,200# in 9 states. And it appears me and my buddy will have a car or two to take down also apiece!! I'll try to get a pic of the setup next week and put it up here if I can get the file size small enough! :D

96,380 pounds hauling a load of the wire used in tires. It was with an old one stack Mack with a window in the back. I don't know what year it is, but it's old enough that the key doesn't turn it off, I need to pull a knob out to kill the engine. This truck is awesome - nothing but a huge cloud of black smoke when driving! waytogo

Okay, I'm not quite in league with some of you guys yet. I still use a fairly lightweight open air trailer to tow the Vette around, and the Vette itself is fairly light (3100 lbs). Heaviest I've scaled is just under 19k gross. waytogo

im a newb when it comes to towing with a light truck, but if your on the highway or interstate do you have to pull into the weigh station if its open. i know our tractor trailor that hauls the asphalt paver (cat ap-1055b= 48,000 give or take)and beuthling b200 compactor (just over 4,000) is over limit for around here. not sure what my personal max is but its nothing like some of you guys, id say less then 20,000.

I pulled my 5er over a scale and the truck, trailer, wife, 2 kids (who don't weigh over 50lbs together!), myself, and clothing for a weekend weighed 22,500. The water tank was also filled (100gal), but no quads or fuel in the pump station.

In California , true ... in Iowa , trucks over 3 tons weigh ... they will chase you down if they feel like it ... every state is different ...
