So i got an 06, and it is way too small for me, I have looked everywhere even at the really nice kits, and none of them will fit 40's, Im ok if i got to alter the bumper, I want a ranch hand anyways. But Im refusing to do a body lift, unless it really is my only option, but its also not good to mix the lifts like that. So... what do yall got?

Why would you want 40's on a truck like that? It will ruin it's intended purpose and the truck will eat tires up like no one's business from the weight of the motor and torque.

Google Whiplash and Full Throttle suspensions. There is nothing wrong with mixing a body and suspension lift.

I take it you are building a " for looks" truck?

I would go witha Kelderman Air ride 10" lift. Adjustable up and down if you like on the fly and should clear 40" tires just fine. Thats my plan once I get kicked off the drag strip I think.

Looks, ha! You say 40's are a waste I say 1500LB ft of torque is a waste. Who cares, its what I want. And whats the point of 40's if you dont get them dirty. Thats a waste.

Why not? I blew a transmission drag racing my twin turboed truck in front of how many people with dealer plates on! Thats why I bought the truck. Sounds like he's in the same boat.

I love it when someone uses the truck for a truck! Right on!

You know what would look just awesome with 40's is a Road Armor Bumper!
