Nice! Looks like you have a nice piece of land out there. Is that a (gasp!) Chevy I see in the background of that pic?
70 at my home ranch (where the pics were taken) and 365 total that we farm, everything is close enough that i can ride my ATV to every acre. Yes it's a '98 C30 in the background with a Vortec 454/NV4500. It's a piece..... imp: It isn't near as nice as my Dodge or my dad's burb. We have a bunch of Chevy stuff.
I don't know squat about sleds either but that thing looks like the F-550 of snow mobiles! It looks fast just sitting there ...... Tom
It's more like that new International Tow rig on the front of Fourwheeler this month. imp: Mountain sleds are not as fast as short track sleds that are built for fast trails but mountain sleds can climb almost strait up a mountain and can go through powder so deep your crotch stops you from sinking when you get off the sled. It's basically equal to having a K5 with a blown 540, Unimog Portals, King coil overs, and 44" boggers. opcorn:
rotfl I wear a little more than shorts and a tank top. I have a full Red, white, silver, and black snowmobile suite that matches my sled. I'm compfortable far below freezing temperatures.
Man I'd love to rail on one of those. I got to ride an Artic Cat when I was 12 but that was a LOOOOOONG time ago. I'll just have to stick with flying my quads. Wrong climate here for a sled but if I had one it would look like thatwaytogo .
waytogo You'd be suprised if you rode a newer sled, they have come so far the last few years in weight and power that it would blow your socks off!
Bummer, sorry about your luck. rotfl :stir: Jet skis look like fun to ride for a while but what I don't like is the terrain basically never changes.
With the Challenger having a top speed of 22.8mph and my new sled with a top speed of well over 100mph....I know what I want for fun. When it comes to work and paying for the toys...thats why we have a Challenger.
NICE. I would love an escape! I have a mod 99 700 rmk. Cut head, slp pipe and can, 151, started custom tunnel and hood, custom bars. Friend has a escape and it totally rocks and would trade anyday.
Are you crazy!, wrong climate, you Californians had more snow at one point than we had here in Western Canada! RJF I ride in the mountains here in Alberta and British Columbia, I hear you when you say the scenery never changes on a jet-ski (ride those in the off season to keep my mind off sledding,.....somewhat!), whereabouts in California do you ride (the Sierra Nevadas?)?
mainly the Sonora Pass on highway 108. We get over to Hope Valley on 88 sometimes too, over by Lake Tahoe. Yeah, I don't see jet ski's as being a lot of fun. They are for a little while but there is no where to go but in circles usually.
