No they are not power. Thats why not very many late 2nd gens have these mirrors, almost everyone wants power.

It doesn't bother me much. The view these mirrors provide not flipped out is superior to the small round powered mirrors so honestly, I can get away with not flipping them out and having to re-adjust.

You can make them power though, you buy a second pair of flip outs that are for a 3rd gen that come power and you switch the mounting base between the 2 pairs of flip outs and hook the wires up to your factory power plug.

That was the first mod I did to my truck (03).

Before I bought it (this summer), I walked up to it with the dealer and said "what jackass would order a QC dually withOUT tow mirrors?" rotflAnd the thing was, it never had a brake controller on it, and the inside of the receiver was unscratched. Dude bought a dually and never towed anything.... 21K miles of just driving around I guess

Bought the truck and had the mirrors installed the day they arrived.

Same here basically. There were no scratches inside the reciever and no scratched plastic inside the plug. Except my PO, did 101K of just driving around.rotfl

I know it's a little late to be a wiseass in this thread, but when I read the title I thought: "Sounds like someone needs to take a laxitive" :D
