Yeah they had it but not as popular a puke green:stir:
I ended up with my dad's 71 F100. I really wish I had that truck back. The first car I ever bought was a 68 Mercury Comet. It had a 200 I6 with a column shift 3 speed. Moved the shifter to the floor and that was a fun car.
The list goes on.
81 Toyota Corolla wagon
88 Mitsubishi Truck
63 Galaxie 500. Still got this one in the garage.
91 Daihatsu Rocky
83 Mustang GT Convertible.
89 Subaru Wagon 4wd. This one actually had a high/ low transfer case. Pretty neat.
85 Bronco. Bought it for $3200 drove it as a beach toy, trailer hauler for 7 years and sold it for $3000.
94 Corolla Sedan. Current work beater car.
97 F250 SC LB 7.3 PSD. My new girlfriend imp:
My first was the '57 Chevy pickup in my sig. 235 i-6 and a 3 on the tree. It's still in the garage. Plan to keep it forever. It's silver now but I plan to paint it the original Indian Turquoise as soon as I can get it to the top of the priority list.
Is it all original or did you restore it? Or hot rod it???
It's all original. The previous owner patched rust on the bottom of the cab with fiberglass. I've replaced all of that with real metal. The only other thing I've done is maintenance, stuff like old wiring, bearings, leaky rear end.
The only thing it needs is to paint it, replace the wood in the bed, and fix the transmission (it likes to pop out of third gear). I want to keep this one original and take it to shows. I also want to get another one and hot rod it. I know where and 58 or 59 apache is sitting in a barn, but I've already tried to get them to sell it and I've got plenty of projects for now.
I got it when I was 15 and it was my daily driver until I got my jeep the Dec. before I graduated high school. I put quite a few miles on the old truck back then.
78 Ford Ranger five speed.
The first viehicle i had was an 88 chevy half ton
the toughest truck i ever had was a mercedes 300D that poor car was treated beyond rough and if it had not been for a slick road and collegent stupidity:doah: it would still be around getting 25mpg and smoking like a frieght train
(for those of you who didn't know it was a diesel; 5 cyl. turbo making +- 90 horsepower at the flywheel)
imp: imp: it was a horse shoeing rig that doubled as an 8 keg hauler that also had a trunk that doubled as a cooler when the spare tire was left at home and the well was filled with ice and beer.imp: imp:
May She RIP burnout
That is a college party machine lol
Oh But Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In US my first was 1988 Pontiac LeMans
Back at home mid 60's Wartburg
Im still amazed at the amount of people who got a diesel (even though its only 3), and im suprised that there is no votes for "didnt get a car"
MY FIRST WAS A VW CONV RABBIT :doah: THAN I SMARTENED UP AND HAVE HAD A TRUCK EVERY SINCE waytogo
Has every single one of your post been in CAPS??? and i hate V dubs
Yeah V Dubs used to be good now they suck I know of one couple who have a Passat diesle and due to their weight both are over 500 lbs chew up the front tires on that car....lol they cant figure out why the car has issues with tires cause its rated for four people and they weight about like 5:doah:
My first vehicle was a 1979 Dodge D-100 regular cab, short bed 2wd. Had the good old 318 with a 2 barrel.
Below is the only car I've ever owned and it went down the road for my Cummins Dodge - truck number 14.
How about a 1970 Mach I. Bought it used in 1973 for $2200. Wish I still owned it.
It was a 77 Blazer, soft top, 33 inch tires, I miss that old thing. Lots of memories.
ya if you still owned it and it was in good condition it would be worth alot
My first car was a branspankin new 1984 Rabbit diesel Thats still rollin around after 300k + miles on it. My nephew bought it off me in 92 and just recently gave it to his youngest son.
I wish I had the 72 my father and I bought:doah:
