Who's got a 12 valve?

    Crank problems with the 800's? I thought that was only on earlier models. :doah:

    I've seen some of the 02 (I think) and newer ones that are supposed to have the updated crank design break too. I even have the updated crank in my 700 with about 700 miles on it now.

    The biggest cause of crank breakage in lack of clutch maintence. Keep em clean and smooth and should minimize the possibilies of brakage. My roommate (ex-polaris tech) had 4000 or so miles on his 800 crank on his last sled. We also have a set of 1200 watercraft cases sitting here waiting to build a sled motor out of.
